This class provides foundational and advanced Haircutting and Design Principles that will take your craft to the next level of design. Part Two focuses on creating a strong foundation in design using proper ergonomics for you as the Cosmetologist and your tools which will affect the end results of your designs. These things include elevation, blade placement, guidelines and design lines as well as the texture found within the fabric of the hair itself. This valuable information can really help set your designs apart from anyone else in the industry.

Darlene Cope

Darlene comes with over 30 years of experience in the cosmetology industry. She has served as the Director and Lead Instructor of Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Programs at a local community college in Western North Carolina, a national and international Artistic Educator for the Matrix brand, and all while continuing to stand behind the chair in the salon. As a cosmetologist, Darlene understands the desire to nurture your passion and creativity while bettering yourself in an everchanging industry. She knows the trials and tribulations of the industry and what it means to feel empowered to conquer and achieve.
